 Michael O. Simire (mnitp, rtp)

He is the Principal Consultant/Chief Executive Officer of MS & Associates Ltd. He is focused, dedicated and multi-disciplinary. He is a professionally qualified town planner, environmentalist, environmental science communicator, media manager and trainer.

He is a result-driven and a visionary leader with a proven track record in master planning, town planning advocacy, environmental communication and training, as well as media management, with over 20 years of work experience.

Tpl Michael Simire graduated with a Bachelor of Urban & Regional Planning (B.URP) in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and Master of Science (Msc) in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Lagos, Akoka. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism/Public Relations from the Times Journalism Institute (TJI), Lagos.

He is a Registered Town Planner (registered by the Town Planners Registration Council – TOPREC), a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP), and a Fellow of the Leadership for Environment & Development (LEAD) International, as well as Fellow of the Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP). He has also attended trainings and international conferences on Urban Planning, Climate Change, Water & Sanitation, Marine & Coastal Management and Agriculture & Biotechnology, among others.

 

Orelaja Olabode Phillips (mnitp, rtp)

He is a Senior Partner at MS & Associates Ltd.

A professionally qualified town planner, he holds BSc and MSc degrees in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Lagos, Akoka. He is currently on his Ph.D programme at the same institution, where he’s focusing on Urban Open Space Planning and Management.

He is a corporate member of the NITP and a Registered Town Planner (registered by TOPREC). He is an academic staff of the Department of Urban & Regional Planning, University of Lagos, Akoka.

Tpl Orelaja’s major areas of interest include Data Collection and Processing, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the Built Environment.
